My new Venture.....Semi Quilled Greetings!!!

I always love to make greeting cards.....and some months back I had tried my hands on using Distress Ink in making greeting cards,which I had bought from Crafters Corner....also some embossing folders and stencils and in month of January and February 2013.....I  started making these cards with my new stock....SORRRRY for posting these pics really late...

Workshop May 2013....

It was vacation time during this month.....as usual it just past away very quick...it was Workshop during the first 10 days...then there were some wedding ceremonies we had to attend.....later were out of town for some vacation to Pune and Murud Janjira....hence I had no time to quill this month....and now awaiting for my son Varun's school to reopen...in the mean time here are some of the snaps of my workshop during this month.....done by my student!!!

Hello friends,this is another quilled Seascape I have created with my Student( who is actually a professor) Mrs Barpande. This one is also on the lines of my first quilled seacape....with some changes here and there.

It was fun creating it again....my student has done most of the job...in this one...sorry for the glares as I have taken the pics only after the frame was in the glass.....

Typography Workshop

Here are some of the snaps of my WIP of a workshop during earlier this month.My student this time is no ordinary...she is a 62 year old lady....Professor n Head of the Dept of Statistics at Sathye College,Mumbai.She has very keen interest in Arts....and has learned almost everyform of it.Earlier this year, she approached me for my beginners level....and she loved quilling therein.....later for advance level and Typograghy as well.Here i am presenting WIP for Quilled Typography...the nameplate.....

This is one of the well-known pre-primary school situated in Vile Parle,Mumbai.This school is celebrating its 75th year.Thru' my art I am just paying my tribute to all the teachers from 1930's due to whose hardship and dedication......Ramabai Paranjape Balmandir is a recognised institution today.Thank you.

Hello Friends, Good day everybody!!!
This is my work-in-progress....I actually wanted to post my finished work here...but the is taking too much of my time..and a toll on my back and eyes.I am working on typography and the font size is the smallest I have worked on.So the pain in back and eyes,but still I am loving it.This the first part that I am completing...don't know how long will this take...hope to complete it soon.I'll keep uploading the pics as when I complete.

Hello friends,not that I want to try your patience but this one is really a very dear project to me....Even I was not clear with a concrete picture in my mind..it just went on happening....everytime whenever I use to thing that this project is completed some different idea would strike...and I would again start working on it.

I was very fascinated to do this project ever since I saw a Bath mat with something like this..not exactly....and also after I saw the film Finding Nemo with my 5 year old son.But the exact concept was not clear as how I would go about doing this......so day Ijust started to quilled with some rough idea....
